Title: Swimimg pool ban ?

Post by: termietermite on May 20, 2008, 06:12:59 pm: I have no idea about the pools but I suspect that as the ACO are charged for all the water they use (eveybody is France is metered) that there will be a ban, but that it may be locally controlled, not by the gendarmes, as the water situation in general is much better now and there are no hosepipe restrictions etc at present.

The costs incurred by the ACO in the use of large amounts of water by a few will just be absorbed in increased camping ticket prices for all of us anyway, so I doubt if the ACO themselves will actually get stuffed by this, it will be us who pay in the end.
