Sorry... She posted before saying... this is what you have to answer if you want to have a right to live in the uk...
We have applied for an unmarried partner visa and if successful with the interview in May she will have to sit the test after 2 more years of "Living as in Marriage" :( ;D ;D with me at PP Towers.

If unsuccessful.... I wont have to add another passenger to my LM ferry booking.. :(

Anyone who has known us as living together since Jan 06 (True) please feel free to provide a letter stating so... details of dates etc can be provided by PM to provide authentication.

This is not my usual bolshoit post but a request from us for help in her proof of living with me for 2 years.
We have lived together for over 2 years but dont have all the "required" documents in her name... as I pay all the bills..

I may re word this post later but it is serious....

Any Dutchies... Your help is much appreciated.

I'll be happy to write a reference for you both Rex.  :)  As a Chairman of a Charitable Trust I am deemed as being quite a good referee.

Just let me know who to write to etc!

The other alternative is that you just get married?  8)  Would be one hell of a party!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Happy to ablige mate.

Leftie - I think you'll find it's 'oblige'.  You'd fail the naturalisation process at the spelling test stage.   ;)

I'm so glad I got all my papers in to the home office before these tests were introduced.

Good luck guys!

interesting how some of the questions appear twice in different format, and how some of them give clues to the answers of others!

Well despite years of experience I failed.  Principally, because I don't give a sh!t about either Welsh assemblies, or the church of Scotland

Failed - I'll pack my bags .....

I was suprised that some of the questions did not have a "like I give a s***" option though ....

I love this question on page 6

Consuming a lot of alcohol in one session is known as what?
Party drinking
Booze drinking
Binge drinking
Hard drinking

but surely the options would be better if they read

A: Mad Friday - Le Mans
B: Sebring - All Week
C: Drinking for Holland
D: All of the above

 ;D ;D ;D
