Title: The 'Stella Bar' Post by: Ferrari Spider on March 26, 2008, 05:41:33 pm ...browsing another LM website, shame on me, and noticed gods hallowed bar was called 'The Brit Bar'. It got me wondering what other names it might be called.
One chap on here can only visit when he is wearing, 'Falling down trousers', so that may well be another name. What name do you call it? Title: Re: The 'Stella Bar' Post by: Paddy_NL on March 26, 2008, 06:11:46 pm What name do you call it? "The bar I never go to" ;D Been there somewhere in '94 as a Yorkie man, must have been somewhere in September or something as there was no race going on whatsoever. Recognized the place by the pictures on the wall, I parked my lorry on the circuit then (Tetre Rouge bend). To be honest I think it's too much of a walk from Maison Blanche :-\ Title: Re: The 'Stella Bar' Post by: Bob U on March 26, 2008, 07:06:21 pm We always called it "Tetra Rouge Bar" until I heard it called "The Stella Bar" on here. Now, the morning after with a screaming hangover we usually call it "Fuckthatplace"

It isn't the setting up the tent bit that fazes me, I can kip in the Midge if I needs to but the run down from Le Havre in the evening traffic after 18.00hrs as worries me. No navigator this year. I would like to invite you all to have a look at Aux portes du circuit. Every friday evening there is a great "band" and in front of the bar there is enough wheel spinning to see. Canada Phil Phil, it looks like that, but unfortunately no. The tram goes right by the bar, the actual stop is adjacent to the 'mad Friday roundabout, the track loops right behind the tram depot. At least it'll be easier getting off the Carrefour Shopping Special Tram, drop the goods off at the campsite and then having an easy stroll to the Bar. About a 1000 yards all told. Have a look on this map. How you doin' good buddy, looks like a crazy week ahead of us all, where are you meeting Smokie on the Sunday? Thanks for the picture. My plan is in a bit of turmoil at the moment. Should know more in a week or two. Phil Title: Re: The 'Stella Bar' Post by: vqdave on March 31, 2008, 01:28:15 pm (http://www.vqdev.net/burnout.jpg)
