Save the V8's! ;D Title: Re: Global Warming - Save the V8 Post by: Leftie on January 26, 2008, 01:46:46 am As long as you live in the right (or wrong) place, it will be easy to prove GW is bollocks. Save the V8's! ;D Global Warming is a load of rubbish. As an Engineer, I have to put up so much crap about this. Records proved by Scientists that about every 10k years this planet of ours go through changes. Meaning Hot & Cold. For us in the Northern Hemispere, the magnetic 'North' pole differs per location daily, but on maritime & aviation navigation charts the variation is based on historical data and then averaged with envisaged projection. The Earth is not a perfect sphere and whilst 'spinning' will create anomolies that we are still learning. The severe weather conditions we have been experiencing over the last decade in the UK and Europe are due to Pacific conditions (blame the Yanks for that). Then we have the 'Coroilis Effect' - look it up. Wiki is a starter. Quite interesting. The Earth 'wobbles', 1 degree either way will cause traumatic effects everywhere. Luckily here were only experience 0.1-0.5 degrees waver annually. As Paddy said, 'GW' IT'S A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS.
