Title: PANIC! Post by: RS2 Babe on January 16, 2008, 11:27:47 pm :-* :-* :-*
I dont have a ticket for anywhere OMG :'( Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: WhiteBaron on January 16, 2008, 11:48:12 pm One thing i have learned is that people always drop out!
so don't worry, even if you haven't got one now nearer the race people will suddenly find ways to cancel on their mates that bought the tickets ::) last year at the practice a late addition to our group got a Dunlop grandstand seat and general admission no probs. I will agree that camping esp MB will be trickier (gold dust?) this year but several companies will have at least the odd ticket if your not looking to group book. Theres always the other site that were not supposed to mention with a camping area in bsj. I have every confidence you will be able to arrange something. I may even be putting up an add in May. Baron Blanc Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: Paddy_NL on January 17, 2008, 12:17:14 am Lisa, we will have a spare ticket for Bleu Nord if wanted. It's probably the last one...
Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: Lawnmower Man on January 17, 2008, 01:55:26 am Nor do I. But if I don't have one before I leave it will only be the 20th time I will have set out without one. :-)

We normally camp around the Hairy Triangle - you know it makes sense. Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: Perdu on January 17, 2008, 04:57:33 pm Just one lump in mine thank you Peter
and please pass the coconut macaroons :) Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: paulydee on January 17, 2008, 07:56:58 pm there are more than a few of us camping on Houx Annexe, ignore the jibes about the 'Hairy Triangle' and HA Hooligans. Have a look at previous posts about the pros and cons and the type of person to be found on HA and MB. Although, the usual MB riff raff have been evicted onto a campsite more fitting to their station in life ;D More tea, Vicar ;D As always, the Annexe will be like a little corner of England again this year. Admittedly, a noisy, dusty (or saturated), beer-fuelled corner, but a corner nonetheless  Bring it on ;D 8) ;D 8) ;D Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: Perdu on January 17, 2008, 10:48:47 pm Bill, will we be blessed with your presence again :o Not long for the Old Boys Brigade to be reforming again, maybe get KPY along to be the fourth for bridge this year ::) One is certainly hoping to be at home "Chez nous", down track from Young Steven. But this is at the moment in the lap of the Gods (ACO branch) I have it seems the usual number of Spridgeteers hoping to be home in June amongst the lush verdant pastures. We shall see ( avec les doigts transposee? crucifant? wotsit?) [one gets one's mucking ferds wuddled, when attempting Le Franglais, dontcha know] Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: Martini...LB on January 17, 2008, 11:02:22 pm HA Gods own country... I'll be there but I do not think it will be the usual place, by the hole in the wall, judging by the maps going around. Oh well...
Don't you just love the smell of Smirnoff in the mornings... brings a tear to my eye... >Martini... Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: Perdu on January 17, 2008, 11:07:21 pm one might prefer a Ducati babe in rubber but I am always willing to learn new ways on the road to perdition :-[
I am normally the chap that sits against the wall holding forth to all and any sundry young ladies on the suspected perils of gambling but the common rules of hospitality would require a relaxed approach in the home of the super casino ??? you teach me- I'll try not to lose too much money  Martin I prefer the scent of a well fried egg or two "onabap" for brekfuss! Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: Perdu on January 17, 2008, 11:24:50 pm PERDITION
sounds like a good name to be etched on the postbox outside the stately hovel on HA doesnt it? Just where a PERDU should live rubberrrrrrrr no dont muck abaht! Title: Re: PANIC! Post by: Lord Pig-Pen on January 18, 2008, 12:09:00 am Bill, that is really good news, and so close to young Mr Brown and his wild bunch of Cobrateers, or should that be Cobra in tears, I can never tell ;D Gods willing I will be accompanied by two young Ducati Babes, racing leathers and all, I say young, younger than me, not antipodeans as per normal, good wholesome Dorset lases, just hope I can keep them away from the clutches and sinful attractions of MB. Do you fancy a rubber or two of Bridge ::) Send em over to camp Brethren.... we will look after em! Unless they are Buffet Slayers.. AKA Salad Dodgers! Title: Re: PANIC!
