Ok, so you won a roll over Lottery, done all the sharing to kids bit, bought a nice house with a seriuosly big garage what cars would you put in it:
For me it would be:
Every day motoring : VW Peaton W12 + RS6 (de badged)
Fun days and going to LM - Airiel Atom + Aston Martin Zagato
High days: Maclaren F1 (of course) + Masser MC12

I'm not quite sure what car I would buy, but it would definately be a pink one ;D

Everyday - Aston Martin DBS and Porsche 997 Turbo (I don't like old cars!)
Le Mans - Pagani Zonda and Aston Martin DBR9 (in Gulf Colours!!!!!)
Cruising Days - Ferrari 599 GTB and 250 GTO (alright one old car)

Everyday - Audi RS4/6
Le Mans - Lime Green GT3RS or an Aston  (in British Racing Green)
Cruising - Short wheel base Audi Quattro or a MG Metro 6R4 or a Mk2 Ford Escort RS 2000 (the one with th e flat front) plus a modern Maser Grandtorisimo

250 LM in David Piper green, a Mark 1 Lotus Cortina and a Saleen S7.  That'll do for starters.

It would need to be a big garage,

But here is a few to start with

As an everyday car (to fit the family in) Audi RS6 Avant

For any other time

Aston V8 Vantage (early 80s)
Lamborghini Muira
Boxster 3.2s
BMW E28 M5

The last 4 would be as low mileage as possible in close to concours condition

Of course these would be added to over time with more cars from England, Germany and Italy,as the interest built up in the bank account.

I'd probably have a few motor bikes as well and a tour de France type road cycle!

For Le Mans, a big slide out tourbus, with all the features, including a thai girl (legal age, barely) for massages ;D

A Jaguar XJ220, An Aston Martin Vanquish, A DB5, A Porsche Speedster, A Murcielago, A Dodge Viper, A Koningsegg, A Pagani Zonda, A McLaren F1, A McLaren SLR, A Porsche GT, A Spyker etc etc.

everyday: BMW 535d touring with some mods - sound system, lowered, 19" wheels, silver tinted windows with dark blue car...
winter: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX (yes, not the X)
fun: Edo Competition Maserati MC12 Corsa (street legal which it's works counterpart isn't)

I reckon that lot would eat up around £1.75m of the lottery win - really exceptional value, considering the range of fun to be had with that lot, leaving plenty of dosh to travel around and race them.  Oh and to buy a Bugatti Type 35 and/or Alfa 2300C which I omitted from the list.  All would be equally at home on both the road or the track (with the possible exception of the Land Rover...).  Oh, and there would probably have to be be one or two modern heaps of junk to keep the missus happy.

I once heared a story of a D-Kadett (Astra to you guys, early '80's model) with 450 bhp.... Looked like the original thing, but was completly redone unterneat the hull. Pushing Beemers from the road on the Autobahn was the owners hobby. ;D

Naturally if it's me that's won the lottery, then once I've given mummy and daddy about £300, then I'd go out and buy:

Everyday road use:     Aston Martin DB9 or the old Square Vantage
Fun for the weekend:  Ferrari 250 GTO SWB,  Probably an Enzo as well  and that weird thing that Jason Plato set light to, and JC managed to break - oh and a team of engineers in a van following behind me.

I'd also buy a double decker bus, strip the top deck out, and put 4-5 beds and a shower in place, strip the bottom out, and plumb a bar, complete with beer on tap, and multiple plasma's with satellite TV. 

I'd probably buy 5 of those, and rent them out to you lot!

I am however, a little puzzled by your reference to sex in the sixties. As far as I remember, it was pretty much the same as sex these days. Except more furtive and with strange feelings of guilt.

An old VX4.2 Land crusier for the shooting. An Audi RS6 Avant for the golf, Oh and a Hummer for the wife on the school run(what carbon footprint). I would have to test drive all the fancy stuff till I find the right one.

Family car: DBS, the kids and any gear can go with the nanny in her car.

Le Mans: road going 917, one of the two that were built for the Martini family by Porsche.

SL LWB 500: so the chauffeur can pick me up from any pub or party and I can go to sleep in the back.

I thought you might go for something a bit more stylish than that Barry.

I don't want to spoil the chauffeur. :)

For me I think LM was at it's best in the mid-late 90's when Porsche, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes (and some ageing Mclaren F1) were there going for the win. (never mind that a notable F1 commentator stuffed most of them gearbox first into the wall at Mulsanne 1)
There are hardly any lidless cars in the lists below which is exactly why Le Mans should return to it's roots of proper GT racing. It would certainly not be an Audi R10 for me.
Everyday motoring: AM DBR9 - one of those nice new ones with the Gulf Colours, or maybe in BRG, or both - what the hell I won the lottery!
Fun Days and going to LM: I'd get back my old 1963 AEC Regent 5 Half cab double deck bus (Rhino - I put a bar in the bottom deck and we went to LM 5 times in it - took a while but they were epic trips
High days: I think the 96 911 Porsche LMGT1 was the best looking racing car ever (could be controversial but it's my money). I'd sure like to have a decent hoon in one.

If I won a big roll-over on the lottery. I know exactly what I would do with it...........

50%......This would be spent on good wine, beautifull women and various cars,

50%...... I'd just fritter that away.

But would I tell the misses? No way. I would give her £1k out of savings and tell her to go on holiday, but don't bother comming back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ferrari 400i manual. As sat in my local garage, has been for years, last time seen moving was belching smoke due to 2 stroke oil being added to the bores to stop it binding up in storage.

Nissan 300c Saloon.Silver. Raided for ignition parts to get my Black estate to LM 06. Soon to be on the road again!
