Free day off work for me ;D ;D ;D Forgot that you weren't a proper "Liverpool" boy Mike - we have just the usual hint of drizzle in the air here in Manchester ::) F Title: Re: snow Post by: nickliv on January 04, 2008, 10:34:21 am Here's one for starters.
Note the highly pikey arrangement for holding the washing line up. Old wheels and tyres. Are those 4 UFO's in the upper left of your snowy photo? ;) The snow looks great, as well as your view. Title: Re: snow Post by: redstu on January 04, 2008, 01:54:07 pm Cycling home with the sleet biting yesterday evening made June seem like a very long time away.
And yesterday lunchtime as I was walking to a nearby diy store ,a car mounted the pavement 5 feet in front of me before swerving back onto the road! Title: Re: snow Post by: mike(liverpool boys) on January 04, 2008, 06:31:22 pm The snow is gone and we're back to the good old p***ing rain ::)

If it had been heavier, lasted longer and been been proper snow it might have settled, well it gave me an excuse to drive to work today as i couldn't be doing with getting cold by walking.

Yeha, I noticed that ... gave me an excuse to drive to work today as i couldn't be doing with getting cold by walking. Thought you worked from home? Yeah i used to, got an office in town now, right in the heart of Wokingham CBD on Broad Street oppo the Broad Street Tavern which is nice. Too much noise and distraction from the 2 vqdave jr's to work at home anymore as my house is not as vast and palacial(SP) as Smokie Towers in the exclusive Beanoak development. |
