Club Arnage

Another successful meeting with superb food and company.

Tonite, Zaika in Milford On Sea had a charity buffet(Eat all you can nite) and the place was rammed until our later sitting (Must remember my Red moleskin Trousers next time!) ;D

Attendees were Mr & Mrs Catchpole, Mr & Mrs Snoring Rhino, Lord & Lady Pig-Pen, RobSpot, and some friends of mine, Jim Foulmouth-afterstella, Sid "I cant do Indian" 2 helpings and the oh so sexy Ms Alexandra Seripinska, all the way from Poland.
Apologies accepted from those that could not attend, you missed out on unlimited scoffing and a take away bag that would cost £50+ if you walked in off the street.

The next gathering is booked in for next month already so we need to know numbers as its booked for 20.00... another "eat all you can for charity event". I cant remember the date but will post as soon as I can!

Time for a little Armagnac (Duty Free from DFH weekend) and then bed. Too full!

It has been mentioned that Brethren attendance is required. I think that a mission down south should be organised for the new year!

She will be sharing the Pig-Pen tent with me and Lady PP.... or the back of my VW if I get round to getting it back on the road in time. What a lucky Lady!!!!! ;D ;)

Just about to dig in to a huge plate of Indain from the other nite. Top result getting 2 bags of leftovers! Have fed Julia, my mum, claire and 2 hits for me.... not bad for £14.50 and as much as you can trough while in the Restaurant. ;D

The Pig-Pens

I think 'area' meets are a good idea. The original Milford meet organised by Catchpole was superb. (Hence we called it the 'South Coast Chapter' ala Hell's Angels! But we only get rowdy in June!! ) Perhaps we should call it the 'South Central', I don't know. but it appears we where the first in the regional gatherings.

Do any others get to meet back in the UK based on areas/regions on a regular basis?

As mentioned before, I'm planning another for us 'southerners' in Emsworth for February 29th come on ladies, you are allowed to propose.

The idea could be expanded.

Your views would be welcome.

I think Wokingham and London have been having regular meetings for a while.

We tried for a northern one a while back, but we are a bit more spread out than the Wokingham mob.

Wokingham meet is on this Friday, I used to arrange one in London aswell but as I no longer work there theres not much point for me.

There was even a Channel Islands Meet last year!

I will plan to make the 29th of Feb anyway.

Sounds like a fab idea Catchy... its not costly to get there and I am sure we could rally enough troops to make it a good one!
I have never been to to the "Islands" so up for it !!!!!!!!!!!!
I will also have a word with a friend who has a "Private" 12+ seater Turbo prop that does occaisional hire if required that is based at Hurn. We may be able to go in style if the price is right... and there are enough of us. I will keep you posted. How cool would that be?????????????????????????

Regarding shirts..... I am spending next Sun/Mon with the Lord of all Brethren, Russ, on a beer/clay shooting/food/ weekend, so I can discuss if required.

Forget the plane idea.... it only seats 8 plus pilot and would work out so 'kin expensive that it is just not sensible :(

Shirts will be discussed with our leader in between beers and Curry!

Already got the box ready plus some big reds I had kicking about... The blues are the mutts though... 53Gram number 4's!
The green one is a normal cartridge and is for demonstration purposes for those who may not have a clue what we are talking about!
Earplugs and safety glasses will be coming too....

Catchy.... I have to admit that I totally forgot to discuss shirts with Russ due to being rather squiffy on Sunday and shooting over 300 shells on monday followed by a fine dinner and more quaffing at his local when we got back.

I will have a word when we chat next.
