Title: Christmas - Some Good News!
Post by: Andy Zarse on November 01, 2007, 06:35:43 pm

Thank God someone in power has a shred of common sense. Surely it can't be long until all this pseudo-religious nonsense is completely phased out. My only reservation is the apparent promotion of other ridiculous stone age festivities. I suggest they make rammadam occur during mid-June.

I thought you were going to say it was cancelled completely which would be just about the best news I could hear.

Disappointed.

No, I love it too.

2 weeks off work, loads of time with friends and family and very excited and happy kids. And a few drinks in there somewhere.

Perfect.

It also means there is less than 6 months waiting left!!!

I concur with Nobby here.

Yes it can expensive if you have yunguns. Mines now 22 and took deliverly of his spanking new MX5 this morning. (Company car)

Normally the big day is spent with loads of family and freinds. This year is going to be quiet, which means me doing a pub crawl and no 'guests. We're having a French crissy. Big dinner on the Eve and relax on the day.

Hope erindorz like her prezzie.

Well a while back I visited the Far East over the festive time.  Now I know Singapore has a somewhat british history.  Even so Crtistianity is a minority religion. But the Decorations they had on Scotts road where far more impressive than anything I've seen in the Western World.   So they obviously find it very offensive.

One of my work colleagues is an Asian and non-christian but she sends everyone a card at christmas.

I'll be spending Christmas up a tree in a game reserve in South Africa, courtesy of my Boss. How good is that.
Roast ostrich with lots of stuffing for lunch no doubt.

As a matter of interest, it takes 39lbs of stuffing for an average ostrich, just hope the oven is big enough.

a booze free xmas for me i fear, the wife being up the stick and due on the 27th curtails my merriment unless little santa pops out early.
