Title: Annoying songs (unrelated to Le Mans)
Post by: Leftie on October 31, 2007, 02:53:58 am
It is a well known fact that this forum is the font of all knowledge, so I have a delema that needs explaining prior to visiting the men in white coats.

You know when you wake up in the morning, sometimes a song is always in the background of your mind.
Well this week has been annoying so far. I've have the same song twice so far and I'm waiting for Wednesdays.

Even more annoying, it's Rolf Harris!!!! (am I getting old and decrepid?) 'Do you know what it is yet?' Considering he's a Welsh born Aussie and I can't stand him. So it is bloody annoying.

Well, it's 'Two Little Boys'.

Last week it was 'Jerusalem', and a few other hymms. I'm just waiting to see what arrives over the comming weeks.

I think I may be going mad and need some intrusive therapy.

Do any other members have similar symtoms?

Jerry

Not sure about going mad but I certainly wouldn't be keen on any "intrusive therapy"  :o

Oh yes. Bryan and Michael singing that God awful matchstick song about Lowrie. I'd wake in the night with it going through my head or find myself humming it at work or in the car. Even after all these years a mention of Lowrie or Salford and off it goes again.

Joe Pasquali says he knows a song that will get on your nerves, well so do I mate and just you mentioning annoying tunes in your head has started it again.

This is a contender for worst, most annoying song ever

I get stupid local radio jingles stuck in my head.

From the sort of stupid local radio station that advertises a chainsaw shop that's 'open seven days, including Sundays'

However, I am not a stupid local, well, not where I live anyway.

The last part is Randy's favorite, he kept singing it on our way to Sebring over the CB ;D

Edzachery!
Reminds me of our drunken walk to Pidge's camp late one night.

Oh the memories.

Sure is a long song to try and remember. Now wonder Randy can relate to one verse.

How about trying to sing the Llama song when you have had a few sherberts.

Jeeez Andy, you have to be pi**ed to even think of that one, and mental to even try and sing it.
