Title: Overcrowded schedule? Post by: termietermite on October 07, 2007, 06:49:38 pm I fell asleep at about 1 o'clock this morning whilst trying deperately to keep my eyes open to see the end of Petit (still haven't, but happily I recorded it!); watched the Chinese GP over breakfast, Bathurst recording throughout the day, and the Rally of Catalunia just now. (Not to mention the Rugby and the best European horse race meeting of the year.) Now we face a month or so of a few scattered final championship events and then a winter of nothing. Do these people not co-ordinate their schedules?
And why this weekend in particular? Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? Post by: smokie on October 07, 2007, 06:52:10 pm You mean you missed the Khan fight last night? Sheesh...
Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? Post by: Piglet on October 07, 2007, 10:27:48 pm ...and what about World Touring Cars - our Andy still has a chance of a third championship ;D I'm not sure I'm going to be able to survive Macau!
Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? Post by: Barry on October 07, 2007, 11:00:05 pm Or James Toseland winning the World Superbike crown?
Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? Post by: Barry on October 07, 2007, 11:06:01 pm Or England beating Sri Lanka in cricket?
England winning, I thought I wouldn't hear that for a little while, let alone twice in one weekend, :) :) :) Shame Lewis had some problems this morning. Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? Just don't expect immediate service as I can't start editing the ads out until I've watched it (I just get too much info' about what went on!)

Post by: BigH on October 09, 2007, 12:39:09 pm Quote sign on juggling baby Juggling Babies!! Wow, that must be great to watch. Spinning loads of the little sods around on the tops of poles would be worth paying to see as well, I'd say. Piglet, I reckon you've volunteered to open the first sideshow at MB. Never mind the ACO and their squeaky clean PC policy of no Walls of Death, Lizard Women or Blow The Punters Eardrums Out, - we can have our very own fair in MB. I know several 'ladies' who can grow beards... H Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? Post by: Piglet on October 09, 2007, 09:06:05 pm Quote sign on juggling baby Juggling Babies!! Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? Post by: Andy Zarse on October 10, 2007, 06:41:19 pm If I might be allowed to chip in at this point, can I add that I managed somehow to squeeze in a morning's shooting on saturday and a sunday trip to Brands Hatch to see the Radicals racing in and amongst this sporting spectacular. Must have been one of the best days of the year for the sportsperson. Heaven!
Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? : Bathurst Post by: termietermite on October 13, 2007, 10:04:09 am Nick, race now transcribed onto 3 DVDs - on their way when I get to a post office.
Meanwhile, all, there is a highlights programme on Channel 5 at 3.30 am on Wednesday morning. Set your recorders! Title: Re: Overcrowded schedule? Post by: Paddy_NL on October 19, 2007, 04:33:55 pm This looks like a busy weekend too. First (for the English) there is rugby final tomorrow from 7.30 to 10 pm, then half an hour spare to go and see the ALMS final at Laguna Seca. On Sunday there is the FIA GT final at Zolder (I'll be going with Harrison and Pieter 8)), whereafter we have to rush home to see the F1 final in Brasil. Good stuff! :D
