I know that on the whole computers and I lead a love / hate relationship but can somebody please tell me how on earth I can add an avatar to my profile.
I read all the previous avatar help posts and I am still confused.
Even when I find a gif image such as: http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n314/FreddievonRost/jaglogo1.gif the profile update page refuses to load it. Mesaage reads: Either not an avatar or too large.

Resize your pic before uploading to photobucket.
My avatar is 114 high by 200 wide (pixels)

499 by 241 is a big on the biggish side indeed. Try the logo I attached for you, upload that to photobucket.

There was a move to change it to "Club Arnage God/Goddess" but it was mutually decided that it looked rubbish (and also there are so few of us Goddesses a bit unnecessary). So Steve Brown sourced a suitable avatar which I use instead. Quite happy with it now thanks.... :)

hi, im a pc love /hater, and i too have been tryin to get mine sorted, followed previous post regards photobucket,gone to my profile,press proceed, just get a little red cross!
can build planes,cant get a little pic on a forum :(
