I would just like to say thanks to everyone who answered my posting "KIDS"
Took "the boy" .
We were at a bar near the Dunlop Bridge ans i asked him what he tought of it so far.
he did the typical Kevin bit "Derrrr..... don't know. I guess all of it"
he then went on to say.how can a bunch of responsible grown ups act like they were his age.
the answer is easy "DUNNO". ............must be something in the local water????? ;D

Glad it worked well for you both - you just need to persuade him to get a Saturday job to pay for entrance tickets to all the other stuff that he is going to want to go to with you now......

re your comment about paying for next year.Olly has already started to stash his pocket money for payment for the aco grandstand ticket.
When questioned about paying for therest of the trip,he said "thats alright dad,you can pay the rest"
Enough said on that one.
Mind yoyu i did not manage to get a ride for him,but he didd'nt really care as he had a great time having water pistol fights with us and of course the odd beer ior three.
