Title: Ebay again!
Post by: Piglet on May 11, 2007, 02:42:34 pm
This never fails to amaze me....

Firstly - a BSJ ticket, clearly marked with a face value of 42E up to £43 (currently) - his slightly suspect wording firstly says other tickets can be bought on the gate and then goes on to say all tickets were sold out last June  ::)  AFAIK you can still buy BSJ from the ACO at face value (but I wouldn't risk waiting until the gate as they appear to be short).

Then....

MB ticket - with a statement that the ACO have told the seller that zoning will not be enforced and that the buyer WILL be able to camp anywhere.  Anyone else been told that?  We've been told no allocated pitches but not that zoning won't happen?

B*st*rds.

When I last visited the ticket office, they were adamant that there would be zones and marked (although not numbered) pitchesand that these would be enforced.

The ebay person is probably talking BS, he just wants to get a good price for the ticket.

However, if this is the case, we can of course keep spaces open for late arrivals on site!!!!!

The first one's quite funny.  The idea that the ACO sell all the tickets to the French first is laughable for a kick off.  In fact the number of French campers is quite small and the rules are the same for them.  These people make my blood boil.  Humph. >:(

It's a pity that you, as the seller, can select the questions you want to show on the auction page..

or...

Dear Seller, are you aware that, if you go to the ACO homepage you can actualyy order you BSJ tickets online?
Or that you are near enough certain to be able to buy one at the campsite gates, as you have been able to do so for the past couple of years...

I've got an excuse for not knowing then,
First visit was in 1999 with the intention of just 'clicking it off as an event done'
For some unknown reason 9 years later it is a fixed date in the calendar ;D ;D

Hi Steve,
Me Too ::) Very addictive isn't it. Though I do not recall BSJ appearing on the campsite list until 2001 and since then appears to have grown even bigger.

Some people sure have more faith than me...

"As those of you who have stayed on Maison Blanche will know, this is the most sought after campsite."

Obviously the poor misguided fool has never stayed on HA

"In addition to toilets and showers there is also electricity and water available on the site."

Don't you have to provide your own power?

Its like the Great Escape.  We all dig tunnels to the DFH genny and hook in.

I think trading standards should be told
