Title: Chairs in a Bag
Post by: Chrisgr31 on May 01, 2007, 03:53:36 pm
There used to be a guy at Le Mans who sold a selection of chairs in a bag, but last year I couldn't find him.

I have several of the basic version, but I want the deluxe lounger one, so I can put my feet up.  Anyone know where I can get one?

Looks good.  Would be even better if I could actually get our postcode accepted!

Ah well now awaiting a phone call from them.

All sorted and ordered.  Much to my surprise they actually called back!

Thanks Termie

Ah well after a week I had an email saying they were posted with a Royal Mail tracking number.  After a further week they hadn't arrived so I hecked the tracking number to find it was invalid.

Emailed and told that after enquiries it appeared the package had gone missing and they had now sold out.  Would I like a refund or something else.

Requested refund.

Bad news is I still need a chair.  Any other ideas?

Now theres an idea.  What staggers me is how she can find the things so quickly as I don't know what to search for!  Mind you one of those links leads back to the same guy that failed so miserably on the first attempt!

I have also discovered that Argos sell them, albeit for a significant sum of money, however I also need a new camping table as mine is on its last legs.

My new Pop-Up Gazebo arrived today, bought from Ebay, only problem is in my haste to bid, I have got the wrong size!  Mind you from the weight of it I suspect it has a life expectancy of a week!

I stuck "folding chair foot rest" in google! About 2 seconds later, pages and pages of 'em!

Perfect for its purpose then - and you can join BobU in the sacrificial torching on Sunday!

Try Tesco.  I know they sell them as I saw them a couple of weeks ago.  Don't know how much they cost but I bet it isn't much as I bought a three-person dome tent for under £20 from them...

If you can bear to go there, ASDA usually have a pretty good collection of chairs including a model for the ummm.... slightly more rotund user  ;D (fatboy chairs!).

I bought ASDA chairs in 2004 and they still seem to be going strong (famous last words!)
