Blimey! I can only dream of taking photos like that.
Could you do some of my tent at HA later in the year.

ALL were taken on the spectator side of the 'fencing' - no media pass or special treatment.

So clear and crisp.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but what camera and lens set up do you use?

Great pics Steve. Tell me, am I right in thinking that the green lights on the side of the Aston (three) and Corvette (one) are indicators of the cars race position in their group?

If they are I wonder if they will have them at Le Mans. Seems like a good idea.

Yes.  Different colors for each of the four classes.

No.  ;D

I've no idea why the ACO don't require them.  :-\

Simple. The ACO didn't think of it first, and with usual French arrogance they won't adopt any idea which is not their own

The ALMS has been using the class position lights for several years now, as mentioned, it would make far too much sense for the ACO to adopt it. Great pics Steve, both Sebring and Gator Nationals.

I think the only way you'll see them at Le Mans is if they've been covered with 3 inches of concrete, trimmed with barbed wire, and then removed and never spoken of again.

Great shots, Steve. I can't believe you headed straight for the gators after 4 days at
sebring. Really appreciated the Club Arnage history lesson at the party barge on Friday, it was nice of you to take the time to explain it. Enjoyed the pictures, very professional.
