Title: Re: LUNAR ECLIPSE THE OTHER NIGHT! Post by: rcutler on March 04, 2007, 08:37:13 pm How much had you had last night as I can see three moons there!
Title: Re: LUNAR ECLIPSE THE OTHER NIGHT! Post by: Papa Lazarou on March 04, 2007, 09:38:33 pm My best effort:
(http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y185/DobbinTheGreat/Misc/IMG_2812.jpg) Got resized a bit when I uploaded it to photobucket. It's actually flippin huge! Isn't it weird how fast the planet actually revolves - even on a relatively short 5 second exposure there's still a lot of bluriness and on the full size picture the stars are really "streaky". I'm pretty sure the camera/tripod was solid as a rock. Title: Re: LUNAR ECLIPSE THE OTHER NIGHT! Post by: Lorry on March 05, 2007, 01:24:52 pm How much had you had last night as I can see three moons there! The camera was hand held so I had to have a few to relax and stops the shakesTitle: Re: LUNAR ECLIPSE THE OTHER NIGHT! Post by: Perdu on March 05, 2007, 10:51:35 pm buggerthis for a game!
Why does blarry XP keep wanting to open these in an unsupported Acrobat frame? Help!!! And I cannot see the obviously easy way of stopping it... :-[ Papa's picture is great, 'tis they other ones. When I stopped going outside all covered up in a blanket like an old wild western settler's missus to keep the cold out, it looked amazing, sort of like somebody had substituted the cheese for Meltis Turkish Delight, covered in icing sugar over a pinky white sweetie. fantastic and the best I have ever seen in all my long years wow 8) Title: Re: LUNAR ECLIPSE THE OTHER NIGHT! Fantastic sight wasn't it? Err, do you really want me to bring crates (many) of Carling to France? Didn't think so, but if you do, so be it!!! I soytainly got through a few waiting for the metamorphosis, must have! I had the obligatory Carling head'n'guts ache next morning... ;D bill |
