Title: So who was that in Calcot in Calcot thisafternoon?
Post by: Lawnmower Man on January 16, 2007, 05:06:26 pm
So who was in the Red Van on the Bath Road in Calcot this afternoon?

I saw your CA Sticker tooted and waved so you may have thought I was a mad man.  (So close to the truth. :)

I didn't take any chances this time I waved and drove off.  :)

I haven't forgotten either.  Any way I know where you live in June I'll be round.  You just need to hope I don't have me mower with me.

I'd shut the windows and lock the doors in Calcot.

If it was a red 406, its mine, or it was, as I left it in the station carpark.

I used to live in Tilehurst so I'm used to that.  Any way the LAguna auto locks the doors once you drive off.

I think it was Tranny or one of those VW look-a-likes.  I'm not that good at van spotting.

In fact I'm not that good at cars either.  When asked what car I have,  I often reply "A Company Car" or "A Black One".

Ok.I hold my hand up.

There I was minding my own business travelling to my next appointment when this nutter honks his horn at me!!!!

It was only after you had got up the side of me with arms waving that I realised it was you.

I must admit  I do frequent Tilehust and Calcot on a fairly frequent basis. So there is a fair chance you may see me there again, but if not I'm sure I will see you at LM again

P.S do you need any microwaves for this year?

Why would we hope that??  If you don't do it, I'll have to - so please feel free to bring the mower!!

I don't get to that part of town much these days.

It depends.  I'm not sure how much space I'll have.  If there is one going for nowy then there's no harm.   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Not directly related to this thread but there was an older Ford transit parked in my road today, London N7, in Gulf Porsche colour scheme. No stickers though either Gulf or CA.

I noticed an oldish Wynibago (sp) over in Aldershot /Farnborough the otherday with a good selection of LM stickers on it - up on ramps, looked like some fairly serious fettling going on in prepareation for the pilgrimage.

It used to belong to a neighbour of mine. He rallys a MK1 Escort and customises Nissan Skylines in the garage.
