Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: Lorry on November 30, 2006, 11:05:54 pm Just go for the truck load of Kronenburg, and you won't notice you're missing the rest.
I'd add a 50 inch TV with dish, for when I just can't be bothered, and a fridge unit for the truck Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: LangTall on November 30, 2006, 11:51:41 pm My Christmas List I made a minor adjustment Randy. ;)1/grandstand ticket-start/finish line 1/MB or houx camping ticket 1/admission ticket 1/round trip airfare/1st class 1/full size rv rental 1/hire car-something sporty 1/truck load of and last but not least/lots of friends to share it all with ;) ;D Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: Martini...LB on December 01, 2006, 12:06:02 am My Christmas List 1/grandstand ticket-start/finish line 1/MB or houx camping ticket 1/admission ticket 1/round trip airfare/1st class 1/full size rv rental 1/hire car-something sporty 1/truck load of Kronenburg and last but not least/lots of friends to share it all with ;) ;D One other little amendment Randers old chap... Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: Paddy_NL on December 01, 2006, 12:45:56 am And a better exchange rate might help. In that case you better try Sebring ;)Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: Rusty on December 01, 2006, 02:30:02 am No bloody body buys me christmas pressies, well, not good ones..c**ts.
It's f**k*ng well down to me then. Hypermotard will be on order in the new year and a CSR 260 is also gathering a full head of steam, a fine complement to the Defender once the tax bill is paid.....oh...it's already paid. Cool. Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: Canada Phil on December 01, 2006, 04:55:50 am Hi Randy,
I was going to suggest a letter to Santa but apparently all is sorted. Start saving for the airfare then. addictive isn't it? Sebring first then Le Mans Phil Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: termietermite on December 01, 2006, 10:00:41 am My Christmas List I made a minor adjustment Randy. ;)1/grandstand ticket-start/finish line 1/MB or houx camping ticket 1/admission ticket 1/round trip airfare/1st class 1/full size rv rental 1/hire car-something sporty 1/truck load of and last but not least/lots of friends to share it all with ;) ;D Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: mgmark on December 01, 2006, 10:13:56 am No bloody body buys me christmas pressies, well, not good ones..c**nts. Rusty, Now, now steady on there old chap. Can't have that sort of invective in the approaching jolly season of goodwill. There are some underlying policy issues here that could help understanding that inner conflict, described so eloquently. A published christmas list provides a much better chance of getting what you want, or at least then being able to ask someone why they gave you something not on the list. Also, remember that as blokes, we never trust other people to buy the stuff we really want, because they will inevitably buy the wrong make, colour or size or all three. It also deprives us of the ability to "talk to the bloke" about it whilst we are personally buying it. ;D Sounds like the stable is developing nicely, MG Mark Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: mgmark on December 01, 2006, 10:25:54 am On my Christmas List:
1) Not spending my 10 days leave doing household DIY. 2) Household peace and harmony. 3) Finally get round to re-calibrating the MGA speedo. Service the MGA. Sort out MGA engine cooling and fuel vaporisation once and for all. Redo a couple of MGA interior trim panels. Generally play in the garage. ;D ;D ;D MG Mark Title: Re: Christmas List Post by: termietermite on December 01, 2006, 10:45:24 am My Christmas list :
