I do hope that reflection will result in Peter's return.  Otherwise, I for one will miss the air-minded banter with him that goes along with the motoring stuff.

It's difficult to assess precisely the turn of events yesterday, which led to Peter's (let's hope only short-term) departure, as his own contributions have largely been removed.  My own take on the subject is that there weren't many people posting, it was a miserable Sunday and things got a bit out of hand.  Everybody who was on line at the time has their own take on the subject - no doubt- but let's hope FS realises that many people will miss him if he doesn't do a Lord Steve and come back SOON.

Peter - you have a lot of friends on here - don't throw that away.  It really ain't worth it.

This whole thing has really got me down. :(

You know how it is Fax, people get disenchanted a make an exit... I seem to recall you did the same thing not so long ago and came back as good as new.   ;D

Well I do rather miss reading the long and graphic rants (using my all purpose hillbilly/redneck/yeeharrr accent - although I have absolutely no idea how Fax speaks, they seemed to sound best that way) - wonderful use of language and idiom!

Fax has come back and I think Steve so in the light of day it cannot be too bad, can it? Plus you have to remember FS, yes I know you are there, that it is close season and it is very easy to get a little tetchy.

Thanks for clearing things up guys, I missed out on the fireworks so was a bit out in left field regarding what happened.  Peter, come back!  You know you can't stay away too long, I couldn't.  Heck, I left because I was offended by myself ;)

I had some contact with him through the DfH-site yesterday, and he's still suffering from a slow recovery. Still has a long way to go before he's back to full strength.
Didn't say too much about a return here - will probably take a while, to say the least :-\

I was supposed to have met up with Peter over the weekend but he didn't show his ugly face or even phone me. I don't know what conclusion to draw from this as I know he is logging on to other forums :(

Peter, if you are logging on as a guest and reading this, you know that you are missed, just come back.

If you don't come back and defend the honour of MB it will be empty when you get there in June as they will all defect to HA ;D
