Title: Will my TV work? Post by: smokie on May 27, 2006, 03:48:41 pm Mrs S reminded me today that we got a free 5" B&W tv earlier in the year. It's a bit naff, but at least Mark may get to watch the matches which otehrs aren't showing...
Will it work in France? (SECAM and all that...) Title: Re: Will my TV work? Post by: Snoring Rhino on May 27, 2006, 04:05:47 pm Dont most other TV's run off Satalite systems and therefore not effected?
Title: Re: Will my TV work? Post by: jpchenet on May 27, 2006, 06:37:00 pm I don't belive a UK TV can watch "normal" TV i.e. tereestrial through an aerial, in France.
That said, I'd have thought either DfH or Team JPC will be showing all the games all week anyway so Mark shouldn't have a problem finding somewhere to watch the games! Title: Re: Will my TV work? Post by: SIMONR on May 27, 2006, 07:46:39 pm We hired a camper van a couple of years ago and it had a telly in it - We got that tuned in to some daft football game on the Sunday night. All we had to do was sit through it auto tuning 'outside' of the UK band until it found something.
If your telly has auto tuning, chances are it can tune in to french tv. Simon |
