I'd be very interested in that, and any other years they choose to show.  As luddites with no TV, we either have to watch live, or on a PC.  I'll obviously reimburse the cost of discs, postage, coasters produced by duff discs etc.  ;)   Either DVD or VCD format, whichever is easiest.

Pehaps Smokie (or someone else if he is too busy) can do an editing job to get rid of the adverts same as he did with the Creation Autosport Series.

I presume that Motors TV will be showing quite a few of these in the run up to the race as they advertised when they announced they would be showing the whole 24 hours. ;D

Oh well, Mrs BOB U will have to watch her soaps elsewhere

He recently edited the Sebring coverage for Piglet!!

Ask him nicely....and he might do it for you

It certainly would be a plus, not to have to endure the adverts  ;)

Bob,

I would quite happily take a copy off your hands and if necessary edit and distribute a few if required.

Unfortunately I couldn't edit the Sebring coverage that Piglet recorded as it was recorded in 'Long Play' format.

absolutely brilliant ;D  no chance of anything near as good as that this year

Pretzel, I will record any future programmes onto 1 DVD and post off to you for editing, unless you want to do them week by week

If anyone else, like me, missed it, it's on again Wednesday at 1400 and 2300, and again on Friday at 1300 and 1800 and again on Sat and Sun.

I have already set the Sky box to record it this time

Sounds like a good idea to me, rather than doing it piecemeal week by week. Mind you at an hour each programme (less, say, 12 mins per hour for advertising) still only allows for 2.5 programmes per DVD.  Any idea how many programmes there are in total?

I'll PM you my address details.

I am presuming there is one every week up until the race.

On my recorder I can record on different qualities which give me more space at a lower quality. I can get 4 hours at a of decent stuff so if the series runs up to June I can get the lot on 2 discs

Paddy - don't know which version of Motors TV you receive - the UK transmission times are different from the European transmission.  Check on www.motorstv.com.

Sounds much the same as my kit.

I'm not too sure how it handles 3rd party recordings if they are not recorded at the 'standard' resolution (whatever that means) - you may have noticed my earlier posting when I mentioned that I could not edit Piglet's Sebring recording as it was done in 'Long Play' but we'll give it a go.

It may be that if the DVD's are not 'Finalised' then there will be more scope for editing.

As long as it gets back to me eventually anyone is welcome to use it

The only reason I resubscribed to Sky was for Motors TV.

(And cricket.)
