Title: Champagne Bar Post by: Lord Steve on April 01, 2006, 08:06:18 am Chaps
I've woken up again - just been having a mooch around the lemans.org site and noticed the redevelopment work going on around the circuit and in "Le Village" which seems to be resembling Milton Keynes. I don't think i like it - it's modern and there wont bed any thick dust to stand around in while drinking. And.......I cant see the champagne bar anywhere. Should I be concerned? He will have a proper look around and take piccies et all.
Will be continiued... Title: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: Lord Steve on April 01, 2006, 08:32:16 am Morning Paddy
Thanks for the reply. By the way - if you're going to Donnington fancy meeting up for a few drinks? I live close to there and will be going myself. Steve Title: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: powermite on April 01, 2006, 08:59:30 am Hi Lord

Althought it will not be Paddy building it alone, even a master like him sometimes needs some help..... ;) Title: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: vqdave on April 03, 2006, 10:17:42 am .....and there wont bed any thick dust to stand around in while drinking...... ah yes, black ankles. Pissed, burnt, smelly and with black ankles, only 2 months now!! I could quite fancy a grand marnier crepe to wash down a warm lager, mmmmmm, whilst standing in thick dust taking photos of girls arses of course ;D Title: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: Paddy_NL on April 03, 2006, 02:29:38 pm By the way - if you're going to Donnington fancy meeting up for a few drinks? I live close to there and will be going myself. That would be nice! I've already booked (and paid for :() the crossing, so Donington is a definite. We'll be there untill Monday morning early.Steve Title: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: Lord Steve on April 04, 2006, 11:41:55 am See you there then - no doubt there will be a magnificent miracle of modern structural engineering built trackside with you DFH boys perched on top. If not we'll speak a bit nearer the time and arrange where to meet. No doubt drinking will be involved so we'll search the bars first!
Cheers Steve Title: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: Mr. Rick on April 04, 2006, 02:03:53 pm My Lord!

Gadzooks sirrah, for tis a long time since last time! Good to hear from you - was in the Khyber last nite just keeping my eye in with the Nawabi Special Bhuna Duck - a veritable masterpiece of Indian cuisine all washed down with lashings of Lal Toofan (Authentic Indian lager brewed in Northampton). Just name it buddy and we'll be there for a bit of a pre-LM curry night. btw - like the new website design. Steve Title: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: Lorry on April 04, 2006, 05:49:46 pm all washed down with lashings of Lal Toofan (Authentic Indian lager brewed in Northampton). It can't be authentic if its brewed in Northampton. I thought everybody knew that authentic Indian Lager came from FavershamTitle: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: Jem on April 04, 2006, 10:46:53 pm Wotcha Lord, long time no hear.

Just woken up from my winter hibernation - just cant think of anything worthy or humorous to say so I don't bother! Good to see you're still around mate, I noticed your who, what, where message the other day. What camp site are you on this year - we're still on MB. If we don't bump into you beforehand presume 9pm champagne ber (if it still exists!) Steve Title: Re: Champagne Bar Post by: Jem on April 05, 2006, 09:15:30 pm We are on Houx M'Lord, same spot hopefully as last year, couple of rows along from Pistonheads.
We've had a team talk today re our aspirations which are( and I say that in the knowledge that it may be wishful thinking) as follows: 1. To actually be compus mentus (awake) after dark on Thursday, dont laugh we've failed for the last two years. 2. To get to the square on Friday without gipping 3. This is where you come in, we hope to make it to the Breth Friday night bash, so as they are on MB I hope to see you then. We have two rookies itching to partake of the chili challenge. Jem |
