During the LMS test day at Le Castellet it was anounced that the Monza round will be cancelled due to a court decision. Some residents appealed against the use of the circuit because of noise issues (dont ask me what I think about this >:( :-X ).
Anyway, please sign the following petition if you still want to see races at Monza.

Apparently an alternative will be announced at the LMES race in Instanbul, so we can start speculating which alternative circuit it might be...
Paul Ricard? Mugello? Imola? Cateluna? Dijon?

OK as long on the GP circuit, if it is the Indy circuit, forget ti.

Circuit de Catalunya would suit me fine , I spent a pleasant 2 hours there a few years ago sitting in the February sunshine watching some F1 cars doing some testing a few years ago, when I should have been working.
Don't recall seeing any campsites though.

It seems the organisation is looking at Brno and Estoril as replacement.
Great. That means we either have to travel 1120 kms to Brno or 2250 kms to Estoril :-\

66 Euros for Paris-Lissabon + rental with Easyjet. Easyjet also flies from Luton. 276 Euros + rental from Amsterdam with Lufthansa.

sh*t, same here. They're trying to close down circuits that only run 3 events a year that are above road car noise levels

No, we should create a Complaints Death Squad and eliminate anyone who complains about anything. The governments of the world can monitor communications for any mentions of bombs, guns, terrorism etc. so why can't they create a special task force to identify whingers. I would willingly volunteer to help out :D

That's already happening for sure. They monitor lots of emails, forums and mobile phones. What do you think happens with AirMiles?

Whats wrong with Zandvoort
Hmmm. It's an even bigger sh-ithole than Silverstone and Barry Sheen once burnt down the lavatories they were that rank. Sometimes the sand blows onto the track which has caused accidents in the past.
