hi can anybody help!being one of the few women who actually enjoy camping at le mans i am trying to be a damsell in distress. i have allways recieved a camping ticket from the aco each year but this year. i didn`t think i could attend as money was tight. but after securing a cheap ferry ticket off the new southampton ferry we are back on and the hubby is on board too. he has been very negative about our chances of a ticket so i have put out this help! message. one camping blue needed

This is my first post on here but I have been reading lots of the threads with interest. This will be my third trip to Le Mans and this year we have a bigger group than the past two years, this means we need another camping pass.

Maybe, but 3 ACO stand tickets together would be a miracle at sub-agency level, since the ACO limit allocation to two seats per member application ;).

At the moment there are 3 or 4 tickets left of Camping Bleu Nord. We might want to keep one just in case the gents at the door of MB give us grief and will not let us park the lorry on site. Please let me know asap as I will give it another try on that auction site soon again... :-\

It is mentioned in the list on the left.  When you click on that, it comes up with a description, but no 'Buy' button - says 'stock exhausted'.

There was space available in Beausejour on Friday. Fairly typical ACO management. They delay the on-line booking by something like three months after the advertised date, and then open it when there's virtually nothing to sell, but the so-called Tertre Rouge grandstand (it's overlooking the "new" curves before the esses), parking and general entry tickets.

Remember that Houx tickets are numbered, so unless by a freak of nature you are still likely to be split from your mates. Might be easier to get a HA ticket and leave the car there??

Also you only need one ticket per car and with pitches of 5x5 you will not have much luck with two cars and two tents on it!

I am aware that the Houx pitches are numbered and I know I won't actually be next to them but thats not an issue at all, just in the same site would be a bonus, at the moment I am in Beausejour which is miles away.

I know the pitches are small but it's only me, my car and my tent, I don't know where you got the 2 cars and 2 tents from. I can't possibly squeeze in with my friends as they have one car and 2 tents between 5 of them already, so if I can find one extra ticket someone can come in with me and it will be better all round.

Hope that makes sense, still looking frantically in hope.

otherwise bring a pushbike, that would make sense too :-\

Hi i am after a camping ticket, prefer Houx but not really fussy, but due to the fact im from Norway and its so close to the race, i would have to collect it in person at Le-Mans.

Have been every year since 1990 but due to being let down, no camping pass has come my way :'(
