Title: Panic Over - T-shirts required for Sebring
Post by: Steve Pyro on March 03, 2006, 03:23:05 pm
Dear All,
Robbo posted my t-shirt order 7 days ago and, thanks to the efficiency of our wonderful postal system, I still haven’t received them.  Others received theirs within 2 or 3 days, so I’m not too optimistic that they'll turn up.

The bulk of my order comprises t-shirts for our American friends that I hoped to pass to them when at Sebring in 12 days time.

Is anyone, who has already received their order, individually or collectively prepared to send me the following sizes–

Large – 5
X Large – 1
XX Large – 2

In return, you’ll receive my undying thanks and, of course, I will replace your order when Robbo returns from his holiday.

Please PM  me or reply here if you can offer any help.

Many thanks
(a pissed off) Steve

I believe we could help you with the 5 x L and 1 x XL. You'd have to ask MarkJPC though, he's got our shirts untill he visits Spa...

We've got two XL's and two M's but I don't think that helps does it?

Ours arrived last Monday so it does sound dodgy that you haven't had yours.

No chance that they are at the sorting office and the postman just didn't bother with a card?

This Saturday morning, the t-shirts were finally delivered  by private car  :o at 08:30.
I suspect someone found them under a rock or a pile of old magazines at the sorting office and decided they ought to deliver the package.
Go figure  ::)

I'm all for removing the national monopoly on mail delivery - Royal Mail / Parcelforce - get your house in order.

Any road up - a HUGE thanks to everyone who offered to get me out of a hole prior to Sebring.
Paddy,  JPC, Barry, Piglet, Ian, Bill - I owe you a Leffe.
.. and, of course, Robbo for again pulling out the stops and sorting out the t-shirts.

Glad to hear things tuned out ok.   My post now arrives anytime after 10:30  if stuff is delivered by DHL, Business Post etc it's so early I have to get out of bed to answer the door.

What is the point of a service if you don't get any service?

t.
