Title: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: Nobby Diesel on February 27, 2006, 11:41:05 am Take a look at the gallery in this link.
Perfect for the campsite bathing experience! Maybe Paddy could bring one over in his lorry. http://www.dutchtub.com/main.htm Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: knetter on February 27, 2006, 11:58:36 am That would solve our soup making problem, serves a whole campsite!

About $5,300 :o Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: Paddy_NL on February 28, 2006, 11:06:18 am It looks a bit like the shower at Sebring JPC explained to me, except the charcole is replaced by wood, and it's above the ground instead of underneath it. It's quite a simple structure, all you need is bendable piping, a central heating pump and a fireplace. We already have a 1000 litre water container, and I'll have a look at the price of the piping. Fireplace is created very easily :)
Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: amazing 1 on February 28, 2006, 05:09:03 pm A little pricey dont you think? ???
Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: Paddy_NL on February 28, 2006, 05:40:16 pm Not really Randy. Bought a 265 US Gallon water tank (new) for $50,- off the internet. I have a spare pump as I replaced my floor heating at home. So all I need is piping and a fire place. Shower blocks can be built from scrap material. Piping will be another $50,- I guess, so my amount is slightly different.
It's also the satisfying prospect of having a proper shower at MB I think :) Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: jpchenet on February 28, 2006, 05:41:01 pm A little pricey dont you think? ??? A little???!!! A little!!!??? You, Lee, Greg, and Jupiter John could all come over to Le Mans for less than that!!! ;) Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. With the amount of power we will have heating water by an electric heater will surely be easiest? Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: Andy Zarse on February 28, 2006, 05:46:49 pm I trust you won't be letting the Gimp or Chris into your dutch tub or it will soon be full of "Dutch Jellyfish"! :o Ackkk!
Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: Steve Pyro on February 28, 2006, 05:50:46 pm Serious suggestion - If you're taking a large genny, get hold of a proper domestic immersion tank with a 2kW heater.
If you use the type with the header tank / ball float valve in the top, you can connect to mains water. You need a "direct combination tank". Post by: Andy Zarse on February 28, 2006, 05:53:45 pm Or just use the ACO provided shower block like Team Zarse does. It's not that bad you know!

Nah, I've got a better idea (http://www.marktplaats.nl/index.php?url=http%3A//koopjes.marktplaats.nl/bouw_en_tuin/geisers_en_boilers/23963539.html). This way you only use what you need :)And Andy, we're building a shower unit, not a heated pool. Last year's temperatures proved to me we don't need heated pools. Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better. Post by: Fran on February 28, 2006, 10:04:08 pm a better idea You gotta love those dutch links!!! ??? A propane gas powered water heater! We bid 50 euro's on it, probably going to win it as wel. heats plenty water for 35 people. Title: Re: Hot water shower....this is much better.
