Title: Le Mans Classic 2006 - ticket acknowledgement Post by: Steve Pyro on February 06, 2006, 03:44:41 pm I emailed and faxed our Classic ticket requirements before Christmas but haven't heard a jot from the ACO since.
Has anyone had any kind of written / emailed acknowledgment of their ticket request and / or a request for payment? ...... or am I getting paranoid? Title: Re: Le Mans Classic 2006 - ticket acknowledgement Post by: Dobbo on February 06, 2006, 03:53:52 pm Steve,
Same here. I emailed my request a month ago and not so much as a return email. ??? Title: Re: Le Mans Classic 2006 - ticket acknowledgement Post by: Doris on February 06, 2006, 04:01:47 pm I emailed my request at the end of November and when I didn't hear anything from the ACO I chased them up about it. I was told they should start allocation in Jan or Feb. So that would be anytime now then...

Lets see if we get allocated a site that is actually open!!!! Title: Re: Le Mans Classic 2006 - ticket acknowledgement Post by: Piglet on February 06, 2006, 08:10:03 pm I booked around Christmas and haven't heard anything either.
Given that the Classic is becoming more popular I wonder if they might have to open another campsite? Title: Re: Le Mans Classic 2006 - ticket acknowledgement Post by: Barry on February 06, 2006, 09:17:22 pm Given that the Classic is becoming more popular I wonder if they might have to open another campsite? MB was not full at the last Classic. As there is a clash with Goodwood, and the proximity to the main event, will the same number of Brits be going? We applied as soon as prices were announced, October/November, and have not heard anything yet. One, obviously, was the junk about the Club24. The other one baffled me somewhat. It said that if I did not pay for my MB and La Gache tribune ticket allocation for the 24 Hrs my order would be cancelled. This was a mystery seeing as they had deducted the funds from my credit card last month!! A swift phonecall this morning soon straightened out the problem but I have to say it's all a bit worrying.

Title: Re: Le Mans Classic 2006 - ticket acknowledgement Post by: Lorry on February 09, 2006, 06:27:42 pm I can understand why the ACO want you to pay twice, I've just seen Goodwoods prices. A mate has just taken out a second mortgage to buy 4 tickets.
FOS £88 entrance, £153 with grandstand Revival £88 entrance, £176 with grandstand. I think I'm paying under £100 for the entrance and Jaguar grandstand. Once the ACO find out, that should double. I was going to go to Goodwood this year too Title: Re: Le Mans Classic 2006 - ticket acknowledgement Post by: Steve Pyro on February 09, 2006, 07:08:08 pm FOS £88 entrance, £153 with grandstand Revival £88 entrance, £176 with grandstand. f**k me :o It'll be cheaper (including lots of fuel) to go to the Classic! Title: Re: Le Mans Classic 2006 - ticket acknowledgement Post by: Steve Pyro on February 15, 2006, 11:59:18 am This morning my cheerful postman delivered an acknowledgement and invoice for my ticket requirements for the Classic. ;D
