Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: gab on February 02, 2006, 05:17:25 pm I can second that Peter, my 2003 Duke DVD had to be sent twice from Duke, no one knows where the first mailing landed. But to their credit there was no bitchin from Duke they sent the second DVD immediately and with no questions asked.
Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: Lorry on February 06, 2006, 11:33:37 am If they're selling off 02/03/04, it suggests that earlier years will never mak it onto DVD. I was hoping to replace my collection of videos with dvds, mainly because they're smaller.
Looks like I'll have to buy a copier. Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: Neal on February 06, 2006, 12:24:47 pm Great service from Duke, ordered my 2002 2003 2004 copies on Wed last week, they were waiting for me at home on Friday night ;D
Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: Paddy_NL on March 07, 2006, 05:52:19 pm Our friends from Beermountain have got their new merchandise (http://www.beermountain.com/Shop.htm) sorted out, including this interesting looking DVD>>
(http://www.beermountain.com/dvd5.jpg) Rather cheap for £3,50 - I'll have one please Mr Toad! Are we on it too? :P Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: BigH on March 07, 2006, 06:01:00 pm Mr Toad seems to have lost a little weight - or at least it's moved around a bit!
I'm beginning to think "Planet Beermountain" must be a little like Shangri-La. H Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: garystout on March 07, 2006, 08:41:13 pm Where o where o where did you find that young lady :P
Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: Mr Toad on March 07, 2006, 09:16:03 pm Just spotted this thread.
The DVD is a bit of fun and only costs what it takes to burn and put in a box. There is a shot of the DFH film crew as I recall, as well as all the visitors to our bar. As an aside I noted not nearly enough CA members came for a beer, so I must shower more often or lock Mr Disco in the motorhome this year... Claire is our face for 2006. I miss Anikka, but I think she has potential. I've got the X rated version of the photoshoot in my bag, and will post it somewhere before too long. So expect a convergence of Motorsport, camping, and ahem, porn. 8) Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: Fran on March 07, 2006, 09:41:16 pm not nearly enough CA members came for a beer I am happy to report that i was able to represent CA at the Beer Mountain encampment... very nice too! ;D Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: Andy Zarse on March 08, 2006, 05:06:56 pm We were priviledged to receive a flying visit from Mr Toad last year. He even let me take his crate out for a drunken spin! Will be sure to drop by this time.

Title: Re: DVD review tip Post by: Mr Toad on March 09, 2006, 07:20:43 pm Good - hope to see you all then. As an aside, Capt Trousers (our film unit director) and I (CEO, Toad Hall Pictures) are planning an epic new DVD along the lines of Apocalypse Now this year - maybe we should renact the Playgirl scene? - after all MB at midnight on Sun and this part of the original movie look very similar! I'm sure all at CA good be in starring roles!!
PS This is Captain's day job as well, so should be good! |
