Title: Can any of our American contributers help me? Post by: Barry on January 31, 2006, 03:38:28 pm I'm looking to bid on some parts on Ebay, however the seller will only send to the USA.
As these parts are as rare as rocking horse poo, I wondered if any of you guys living in the US would be willing to take delivery of the parts (if I win the auction) and forward them to me in the UK, or even bring them to LM in June. Payment and shipping for the parts would be dealt with by me direct with the seller, and I would, of course, cover any reasonable costs involved in forwarding them to me. (But not an air ticket to Le Mans ;D) The parts are not big, just two gear selector forks from the gearbox of a small motorbike. Cheers Barry Title: Re: Can any of our American contributers help me? Post by: Fax on January 31, 2006, 06:57:40 pm No sweat Barry,
Drop me a PM if you win I'll send you my address to have them sent to. I'll forward them on to you, a couple of gear selector forks shouldn't cost much to mail over. Cheers, Fax Title: Re: Can any of our American contributers help me? Post by: Steve Pyro on January 31, 2006, 09:52:38 pm Barry, if you're buying these items soon, arrange with Fax (if he's okay with this) and I can collect them from him and bring back to Blighty for you.
Title: Re: Can any of our American contributers help me? Post by: Fax on January 31, 2006, 09:57:38 pm I'm good with that Barry, I'll just throw them in the carry-on down to Sebring and hand them off to Steve over some beers. Or Steve, I'm thinking we should just make Barry come to Sebring to pick them up. ;)
