Steve, how is it that it appears to have no stains down the front? if it was mine it would be suitably covered with red wine, but then again it dosnt take a trip to LM to achieve that.  ::)

Ewwwwwwww

There is always somebody who has to 'lower the tone'!

I was just stating that my old Club Arnage Tshirt is now only worth sleeping in but, as it was signed by Johnny Herbert, it is quite special to me.

Read into that what you will Mr FS!!

As mine was signed by RS2Babe it is a collector's item and has not been out since 2004. My 2005 CA Polo and Flag have been to Mosport and Road Atlanta so far. Some of us do get about a bit.

Just found this attractive beast, taken in during Bike Week at Ponce Inlet near Daytona in 2005.

The bike's a monster too ;)  (V8 Boss Hog)

We both have CA Ts on :)

Picture quality low due to being a scan of "real photo" taken by Canada Phil.

yes but don't worry, I don't take that one to bed!

I am in Liverpool for Christmas this year so will return your Tshirt then.(For all of you who are even remotely interested or wondering what I am talking about, I can explain. I didn't get a 2005 Tshirt and forgot to take my 2004 to Le Mans this year so Chris very kindly lent me his but I kept it. So there!)

Chris - we (you, me, Brian, Ian and Jimmy) ought to meet when I am in 'Le Pool' although won't it be weird without the tent, the pool and the noise of Le Mans??

Speak soon

Love

... and some old guy with a Texas drawl visiting from across the pond.

Howdy Lisa, hope you folks are doing fine.  I won't be able to make it this year but I will be there in spirit.  Just found out my daughter is pregnant with my first grandchild and I am so excited.  BUT since she is not going to be bringing a group of school kids this year, I coming over either. I will be going to Houston on weekends to see the new baby.  She is due May 24.  Think about that May 24 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.  How about that????

I am very happy about your news John and am sorry that we won't see you in 2006. However, that being said, at least we won't have to wait around for you to get back to the tent for supper, you tended to be always late!!

I hope all goes well, wish your daughter my best regards and tell her that she will forget the pain in about sixteen years time - I am fibbing - my son is nearly 17 and I still remember it. Perhaps you ought not to mention that fact!!!

love

Lisa

..I think you should all try and go one step further with this shirt thing...

...and see which celeb you can get wearing one!! (photo evidence required of course!)

For example (and not exactly 'A' list) this is what we've got for our footy team...

We also have a 'shirt on travels' thing going with this type of thing...

Which of course includes my own contribution.. (please excuse the drunken blurry look... the photographer was just as drunk!)

...see, there was a Le Mans link... eventualy!!  ::)

And the CA  t- shirt is where exactly  ???

I can just make out the Dunlop bridge in the back ground (I think that is the le mans link??)

I thought the  CA t-shirt was supposed to be the link ::)

You're right Rick!

But no CA T-Shirt... just shamless example of getting a shirt on a celeb!

This thread just sparked my interest 'cos we've been doing a similar thing with our footy team shirts...

The Mighty Bunky Chollox F.C. (http://www.bunkychollox.com)   ::)

Unfortunatly my trip to Le Mans doesn't really get me to the top of the travel distance competition as there's been some from Sydney, Vagas, Hongkong, Wellington etc. etc.

...I'll get me coat.

Bob, you are not being ignorant, I thought the same thing.

Of course it is bound to be somebody really really famous and you and I will then look like divys ('divy' is a scouse word for a silly person!)

Fourth divv here. Perhaps it's one of those celebs who are famous for, well, nothing. Or maybe it's Miss Wensleydale 1998 or something.

It's Nick Moran from Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrells...

(http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/gramercy_pictures/lock__stock_and_two_smoking_barrels/_group_photos/dexter_fletcher2.jpg)

...just trying to find out who the bird is...

Title: Re: Travels with the Club Arnage T Shirt

...apparently the lady with Nick Moran in our footy shirt in that pic is Phil Babbs girlfriend...

Phil Babb use to play for Liverpool and played in the 98 worldcup...

...so it was just the one Z-list celeb and a Z-list celeb's girlfriend then  ::)

At least we've got some wriggle room for bettering it...  ;)
