Title: AD : Air Guitar for sale - as seen at Houx Annexe
Post by: Steve Pyro on July 30, 2005, 05:12:21 pm
I have for sale a classic air guitar made in the late '60's.  This has been played in several venues across the UK but is still in mint condition.  This will undoubtedly become a collectors item in a few years time.  One careful owner from new.  Sale will also include a plectrum and a spare string.
This air guitar has lots of history and has played an instrumental role during a Led Zeppelin concert at Knebworth.

Please note this is only suitable for hard-core fans who know the ways of an air guitar.  The instrument can be played either right or left handed.

Yours for a very reasonable £150 including p&p.

See photo below (please note the guitar stand is not included).

For reasons of hygiene, can you confirm if you have every played this air guitar with your teeth Steve?

Also, is this item offered for sale to women as well as men?  In my experience air guitar playing seems to be an exclusively male skill.  8)

\was this the same air guitar that toured Florida in March Steve that you played along to Mustang Sally? Surely £150 is too cheap?

Looks slighty damaged, have you been taking out some amplifiers with when playing along to the Who?

I have to admit there was some slight damage done to the neck when accompanying "Who Are You".
But you can do some great windmills on this guitar  :)

Steve, are you in deep financial trouble? Is there owt we can do to help? I hate to think that you have to let a rare piece of history go this way.

Anyway why not put it on eB*y, bound to get a huge response there.

A great photo of the guitar there too, use it on yer eB*y ad I would say.

Was that you playing it on the Sunday night, I thought there was a master of the art over the way that weekend.

 :)

Not sure if it's another one of those Urban Myths, but apparently an Air Guitar did sell on eBay in Australia a year or so ago for about $300!!  ::)

Seems quite resonable when you think how important they are at 3 in the morning after a beer or 12 listening to your favourite band :D

How about "Ahrt Fahrt", has connotations of those classy German bands from the seventies and has to be composed of really hot air...

I can do a really good turn on air harmonica, Stevie Wonder was well impressed, so count me in for that one.
And I can double on air joanna for those classic Jerry Lee Lewis favourites.
