Goes without saying, Gary, but thanks for the sentiments.

Why won't you be there?

Sold up in UK, moved to Perpignan in south of France 2 years ago, house renovation taking all the money. Still, no mortgage to pay :)

At least you won't have the ferry / tunnel / seacat / which port / which ferry company / which 'special' offer lottery to run in the future  ;)

Gary, Two if my mob live in Southern Spain and drive up to LM every year. I don't know how close they pass by Perpignon but I am sure they will be happy to pick you up en route if they are close to you.

Have to keep in touch, Gary - I hope to be there in a couple of months.  Not quite so far south - somewhere in the Limousin.

As Steve said above, won't have to worry about the ferry lottery, so will be going to PQ, Main Event AND the Classic next year.

Gary I have spoken to our ex pats in Spain, they have no problem with picking you up in Perpignan on their way up to LM.
They will be passing by sometime on Thursday night.
Let me now if you are interested and I will give you his phone number.

Wanted to get this off before everyone splits for France, have a great time guys and don't do anything I wouldn't do (which isn't much).
Bring back plenty of pics & tall tales and hopefully we'll get a few in-person reports from some of you at the Petit in October.  Knock back a few (or more) brews for me, I'll be at the dog & pony show in Indy, would rather be in France...
