Title: I need a good restaurant for sunday apres le race

 :PI I am sick of luke warm Mcdogsh*te on sunday, have been to the fish restaurant in the cathedral square and that aint bad. can someone recommend an easy to find restaurant with top nosh? quality of food is more important than price.

there is a lovely chinese in the middle of town.also the Maitre Kanter in the square in front of the cathedral is quite good too.

Try "Legends" just down the road from the square, if you like Italian type food, think its called rue du port, a few minutes walk away from the town,. Has a 24 hours race  decor.

L'Auberge de la Croix Margot at Beaumont sur Sarthe (RN138 noth of Le Mans) is very, very good - and not silly pricey.
Usually a Monday lunchtime venue for us - might be very busy on Sunday evening, but it is the proverbial dogs bollocks.
