Club Arnage

Time for a final meeting before LM (just to make sure all is organised properly???). Same venue as last year - the Plough Inn in Wokingham (post code RG40 1RD for newbies)?
Date  - Fridays are usually best so how about next week - 27th, the following week (3rd) is PQ weekend so some people will be away, the next is 10th which could be an option?
What do you think?............

IMHO the 10th is a bit late.
 As you say the 3rd is PQ so FWIW I would say 27th or 28th

For me friday next week is OK. The 10th is our final planning night! On the 11th I collect everyone from around the country to assemble for the 5am wake up call on the 12th!!

I'm in Birmingham on Friday but should be back in good time.

I guess any time it suits poeple, if they want to eat then it may be a good plan to get there from 7.00 onwards as it could get busy after 8.00!!!

I'm not going to be there at about 8.   Three hours is more than enough time to down a few.
Besides,  It depends if I can smooooooth talk my way in to a getting ferried there and back.  If I have to drive
then three hour is a long time to be in a pub and not drink beer.

Strange, me neither.  yes i twisted my knee on the saturay morning and by 3.00pm was in so much pain i was carted of to the medico's, saw the start, and missed everything in between up to the finish.  it didn't bugger up the trip as i was down for a week and had a lerge camper to sleep in.

did the PQ's and the classic so all in all no great shakes.  the classic weekend was awesome but that is another story as they say. ;D ;D ;D

Anyway, it got all the blood rushing and everyone was very excited about the trip to La Sarthe.

Yes it was an excellent night on Friday, good to meet again and the new faces of Genina, Lorry, Steve and Bob.

Robbo, I thought most agreed that if the flags arrive late, the best plan would be for you to take them with you and give them out from MB or even at the Poo bar if people find it diificult to get to MB (yes I know that most of the weekend will be over, buy we cant expect Robbo to spend all his time chasing around as a delivery boy).

Plus normally I am suitably topped up by alcohol! That pint was my first and last as I was driving!

Good to meet you all on Friday. It was nice to put faces to names at last. One problem though was drinking 4 pints of shandy, the bloody stuff ran straight through me. Never happens with lager, must be the lemonade. I was doing 110 at one point on the M4 cos I was bustin for a piss, stopped in the first layby and let it go. So at the end of a good night I could have been banned for doing 110 mph and arrested on a public decency charge for pissing on a grass verge in full view of oncoming traffic.

Still, it was good practise for LM.
