Title: Film to CD Post by: Kate Shaw on May 20, 2005, 09:31:51 pm Is there any place in the Village to get film developed, particularly to have it put on a CD ROM? (Don't ask "Why don't you have a digital camera?" because I do have one; it's my friend who has a film camera.)
Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: redstu on May 20, 2005, 10:25:17 pm sounds a bit hi tech for "the village", your friend will probably need to be a bit patient.
Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: Paddy_NL on May 20, 2005, 11:48:02 pm your best shot would probably be the large Carrefour down town, but that might still take a few days :-\

PHOTIM sarl 257, avenue Georges Durand 72100 LE MANS Tél.: 02 43 75 29 60 Fax: 02.43.72.02.19 Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: Gilles on May 23, 2005, 02:30:12 pm most of photo shops in the Village have their own instalabo in their shops.
However they all run a photo shop in town so they may be able to propvide you this service, if you may wait one day perhaps. Please prefer Washington Photo (my favourite) which is just after the general entrance, on the right before the tunnel, and next to the LM g-string dealer !!! Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: Nobby Diesel on May 23, 2005, 04:57:28 pm Marvellous - from film developing to G strings in one seamless step.
This reminds me, and ties in nicely with my "Weather" post - if it's hot'n'sunny, we all know where to get our G strings from for the 'Poo bar on Saturday night. G strings and flip flops; perfect for a balmy evening down the 'Poo bar. Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: skorpio on May 23, 2005, 07:26:52 pm G strings and flip flops; perfect for a balmy evening down the 'Poo bar. -----------------------------------------------------------THAT brings a bl***y awful image to mind :o :o :o Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: Perdu on May 23, 2005, 09:46:29 pm G strings and flip flops; perfect for a balmy evening down the 'Poo bar. -----------------------------------------------------------THAT brings a bl***y awful image to mind :o :o :o Not that bloody awful.... Hmm I dunno, maybe you're right :D :D :D bill (claiming a g-stringexemption onaccount of my venerable age He he he!) Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: Kate Shaw on May 23, 2005, 10:31:23 pm Thanks, Gilles, I'll pass that along to him. It'll be a big help during the race run-up. And he can use my camera for the race and have his own photos developed in Paris when it's over.
As for g-strings, frankly, my dear, I decline. :o When you meet me you will know why. Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: Fran on May 23, 2005, 11:44:06 pm On the subject of g-strings - does anyone else find their dreams haunted by the avatar of catob?
I have swung my pants with the best of 'em, but that is just too much. :-\ F Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: Kpy on May 24, 2005, 07:18:35 am Kate. There are (fast) film processing facilities for those with credentials close to to Press Centre. They are well signed.
Have fun. Title: Re:Film to CD Post by: jpchenet on May 24, 2005, 09:28:32 am On the subject of g-strings - does anyone else find their dreams haunted by the avatar of catob? Maybe I'll stay away !
