Title: Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: Chef on May 15, 2005, 07:56:55 pm Visitors to the historic track were amazed today to see this remarkable new saftey helmet being tested at Silverstone today. The 'nappie' as the makers are calling it is said to be 'extremly cool to wear in public' and should be for sale at Halfords soon.

Title: Re:Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: Ferrari Spider on May 15, 2005, 10:03:32 pm Who's that bizarre looking geezer? ;D ;D ;D ;D I sought of recognise him, but the lack of appendage of J Herbert esquire makes a positive id difficult. Title: Re:Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: jpchenet on May 15, 2005, 10:46:02 pm Do you mean "The Storker" Actually, it's "Mr Stalker" to you As little 'un is only driving in the support race at Le Mans this year, I thought I'd change my target to someone who might walk away with a first place trophy! ;D And to top it all, he recognised me.......FROM SEBRING (Did I mention I went there????) Have to say, it was a great day out, good to see a few fellow CA'ers there. The Astons looked awesome, and the good weather that contradicted all the forecasts made it even better!! Title: Re:Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: Andy Zarse on May 16, 2005, 01:20:39 pm Apologies for the non-presense of the Zarses on Sunday, unfortunately life intervened. I was however able to indulge in some Commerly activities with a view to acquiring a Ministry of Transport Certicficate of Roadworthiness.
Anyway, hope you all had a jolly good day out. Title: Re:Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: Chris (Liverpool Boys) on May 16, 2005, 01:32:24 pm Did that involve a £50 note hidden under the bonnet for the tester to find?
One of those gqrunteed pass mot's ??? ;D Title: Re:Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: Andy Zarse on May 16, 2005, 01:41:35 pm Chris, there is no need for inducements, for this is the Commer of which we speak. The MOT man is "a believer" and is in a trance-like state under the influence of mystical powers of The Dunstable Necromancer.

Title: Re:Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: smokie on May 17, 2005, 01:10:12 am Cameltoe? I wonder what that is all about, will someone explain in the Stella Bar on the 15th, please? ??? Bill My Bill, what a sheltered life you have lead... I don't know much about camels feet, but I'm guessing they have two toes. So, when the cloth of an outer garment gets caught in the....um...middle bit of a lady, it has the appearance of a camel's toe (if you use your imagination). This picture, rather surprisingly, shows it quite well without being too graphic. Except he's a bloke, and camel toes are normally not found on blokes! And remember folks, that was a bit of education for Bill, and not a general invitation to post your favourite camel toe... Title: Re:Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: Perdu on May 17, 2005, 01:16:32 am Oh Smokie, you are too kind.
Now the embarrassing bit... What the hell were you doing finding THAT example? Still I think I get the basic idea, yes it has been a clean living quiet life..... So far! Still the shelter has blown away lately, rather like Mr Toads gazebo I hear. Looking forwards to extending my late education next month, anything else I should know? :D Bill Title: Re:Light weight lid tested at Silverstone Post by: Rob on May 22, 2005, 04:57:28 pm you wanna get yourself along to the max power live show at london/birmingham
