Until yesterday, David and I were REALLY looking forward to our first Le Mans together.   I last went in 2000, but he's been asking me to take him with me since he was a nipper.   He's 11 and a half, and we've both been waiting years until me and his mum agreed he was old enough to cope with at least some of the tiredness, noise and hustle & bustle of the great 24 hours.

Needless to say, something has come up and we can't go. :-X

I've got a ticket for one vehicle at Parking Rouge, cost 19 Euros, and 2 adult General Admission tickets at 59 Euros each, bought from ACO.

I just want to recoup my costs. Call it £90.00 the lot.

 :'( :'( :'(

				That's a major catastroscope.
I'll be interested in the GAs if you consider spliting them.

You're not kidding, big as he is he was in floods!

 Next year then.  Hrumph >:(

Yes, Steve, I'll split and at least get back most of it, even if the Parking Rouge doesn't go.  Send me an email for details.

 DavidsDad.

Sorry to hear you and David can't make it to LM.
 Better luck next year :)

Thanks for the condolences, of course David (being 11) appears to have got over the huge initial disappointment, it's me that wants to cry now!!!!
 :'( :'( :'( :'(

Many thanks also to Steve Brown for agreeing to take the General Admission tickets from me, (that's a relief).  Does anyone want the Parking Rouge Ticket?   Call it a tenner? :-\

Cinderella will have to wait until next year's ball then, it seems.

Meanwhile I can read what a fantastic time everyone has in June.

 Boo-Hoo.

				Hi

Sorry to hear about your disappointment.

If the parking ticket is still going I'll take that off your hands.

 Thanks
-
Yes HealeyHundred, it's yours, so all three tickets gone.  :)

I'm obviously happy to have sold them all, and so quickly too, but more so that it was to CAers, and I didn't have to resort to using that auction website.

Many thanks again to Steve Brown, (what's your brokerage fee?).

I certainly owe you a beer Steve, but it'll have to be 2006, I'm afraid!

Bad luck for not being able to go but hopefully next year.

If it's any consolation Dad and I first went in '86 when I was just 19.  It was such a big adventure then and we we went about five or six years on the trot and I have really fantastic memories of those times that will last me forever.  I sure once you do get there David will have the time of his life.

Dad and I still make the trip together though these days not every year and in separate cars.

Hi David's dad,  sorry to hear that you can't go to 24 Hours, have you sold your tickets yet, if not let me know, I may well be interested.
