I cant be me tho........i would never refer to Le Mans as "hobby stuff" - thats like calling the World Cup a bit of a kick about.... Anyway, if your a rugby girl, who's into Le Mans, I know just the man for you to meet in Le Mans!!! Title: Re:To my darling wife Post by: Paddy_NL on April 01, 2005, 12:32:04 am Fran, I believe you. No way my missus could stand 24 hours of real racing if she can't even stand 24 minutes of Formula One ;)
Drop by for a cold lager, you can even have a pint if you want! ;D Title: Re:To my darling wife Post by: Mr. Rick on April 02, 2005, 01:03:26 am Sorry JPC i am more of a rugby girl! i was just using the footy thing as a metaphor........or sommat!! ??? Fran Good lass!! See you at Twickers on the 16th then? COME ON YOU BAAATTTHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D Title: Re:To my darling wife Post by: Paddy_NL on April 02, 2005, 03:04:28 am Did Ron's wife react, or is there a divorce on it's way? (don't hope so!)
And Mr Rick, you're going to see Rugby at the 16th?? :o Forgot all about Spa then? :-\ Title: Re:To my darling wife Post by: Mr. Rick on April 02, 2005, 11:17:42 am Sadly Paddy I'm working on the Friday and the Sunday so only managed a one-day pass to nip down to see my boyz lift the Powergen Cup (hopefully!!).
I will be in Spa in spirit though (I love that place!!). Haven't been to Spa since the 2001 24 Hours. Keep vowing to go back but only get so many "passes" from the missus and most of those get used up in France in June. Used to be able to justify it if I was working there but these days it's beer-side of the fence ;D Title: Re:To my darling wife Post by: Ron Jeremy on April 03, 2005, 09:15:18 pm Did Ron's wife react, or is there a divorce on it's way? Title: Re:To my darling wife Post by: Fran on April 03, 2005, 09:32:40 pm Ahhh - the joy of the single life.... :D
