Le Mans airport is just to the west of the circuit.  You can see the runway from the grandstands.

However, it is a smaller regional airport and the biggest aircraft look to be big business jets.

I can see you're weighing up your options  ;D

There's a high speed TGV rail link from Paris direct to Le Mans.

See you at Sebring.

Amazing - at Sebring Canada Phil will be around from Wed evening and has travelled to LM by most methods so would be good for advice. Also the Harpers are experienced travellers but as they are only there for the day you might have trouble catching them for long enough!

Unless anyone can offer a better route/experience, I'm assuming Paris Charles De Gaulle will be your best airport. As others have said there is then a high speed train (TGV) to Le Mans. Depending on when you would be arriving (and as long as it isn't on the Saturday when traffic is a nightmare!!) I'm sure that in return for a few Turn 10 passes at Sebring we would be able to collect you and take you to Maison Blanche (the main camp site where most CA people stay) and offer you some real CA hospitality!!!

Hi Amazing,
Above is the obvious choice. 1 1/2 hour train ride from Airport to Le Mans. Happy to discuss with you over a beer at Sebring.

I don't know about the TGV from CDG to Le Mans but I can tell you about the trip after the race back to the airport.  The train around 6 and another at 7:30PM on Sunday will get you to the airport.  It's an easy trip but will require some walking after you get into the airport.  The problem I had was determining which area of the airport I was in and the area where my plane was to leave from.  The terminal markings are not good and there are no people to ask for information in that terminal area.   The area is mostly shut down on Sunday night at the time you get there.  No planes at night coming back to Dallas on American so I spent the night at a local hotel.  Went outside and caught a bus right to an off airport hotel.  There is a Sheridan on the airport grounds.  Go to this link for train schdules.

By all means, if you can go, it's a gotta do deal.
