Title: MB camping tickets available
Post by: Bas on February 09, 2005, 11:04:23 pm
I have two MB camping tickets that I will not be needing this year, would like to swap against ACO tribune-seats (unlikely, I know) or other tribune seats between Ford and the end of the pitlane.

If interested PM asap.

I'll leave it up to you Mike, but publishing phone numbers in public forums can be dodgy.

So I hear.

That was always going to happen.

No my point was merely that there is a guestbook for first time posters to say hello in, instead of coming right out and saying 'gies us your tickets bampot' that was all.

 'gies us your tickets bampot'
Excuse my ignorance, but what is a bampot ? It sounds like a northern derogitory expression to me like gobshite or scally.

Bob, isn't it a type of northern bread roll?  ;)

I thought it was a breadroll but a mancunian I work with assures me that a breadroll is a barmcake

OK, tickets arrived, nice yellow Maison Blanche passes.
Will have 1 spare ticket for sure, so what to do??

No selling on the E-asshole site but here on CA (without a profit ofcourse) , but what to ask from a fellow CA-er ??

Hell here it is, ticket is for the CA-er who offers the largest amount of beer to us staying on MB as of  Tuesday 21st June 2005.

Looking forward to reactions until June 1st and will remove this post immediately when not within the rules of this site.

I cant help thinking that an invitation to offer copious amounts of beer, in addition to face value cash, amounts to an inducement and as such is tantamount to profiteering (or maybe even extortion considering the desperate measures some might go to in order to secure a MB ticket).  Might also be a payment in kind too which might inflate the selling price and create undue "profit".

Where is a black granny when u need one, i am quite certain they will have some kinda angle on this!

F

P.S.   guess who doesnt need a MB ticket!!!!!  ;D   :P

You're quite correct Fran.

Any profiteering, even if it is goods in kind, is taxable.

The going rate can be negotiated over the forthcoming weekend and we have  open minds when it comes  to  offers and proposals for methods of payment!
Some may call them bribes but we are not allowed to accept those!

Both sold  at face-value to value CA-ers.
