Title: Pre qualifying - hotels full!

If anyone is thinking of going to pre-qual (I am!) then get yer skates on - I just booked speedferries no problem, but had trouble finding a hotel. The usual Ibis is full, and the other central Ibis is €85 per night (about twice their normal rate).
The Novotel (which quotes rates of €66 to €97 on their front page) is a whopping €250 per night.
No profiteering there then... >:(
I guess some people (teams maybe) are going down for two weeks...
The downside for me is that I return on the Sunday night and am leaving again for LM the following Sunday - reducing preparation time. Life's a bitch eh? ;D ;D ;D

You could also try www.hotel-bb.com They have two hotels at Le Mans and you would be no more than a 10 minute drive away if you stay at either. They are reasonably priced as well. We stay in this chain of hotels when we go to Monte in January for the rally.
