Call me an old cynic (although I'd rather you called me a young hunky guy with cannonballs for bollocks), but I wouldn't mind betting that their insurance is just perfect.

How come you never see Vauxhall dealerships going up like this? In fact let's not stop at Vauxhall dealerships, what about Inland Revenue offices, credit card  emergency recovery centres (obviously timed with head office conflagration), the local dentist and all his records, that stupid shop down the road that reckons it's a post office, Mrs Brown and her daft dog in the back of that Metro. And I've just being quoted £220 for a replacement headlight in the missus's Honda. £220!!! for a HEADLIGHT!!! so we'll burn those b*stards as well.
And any Saints, it's well past their time anyway, stake or no stake, should have sprinklers in their hats if they're so f****** omnipotent.
'kin £220...

Three years ago last week, our office burnt to the ground. Front page news of the West Sussex County Times etc. It even relagated that week's fatal car crash/murder to page 3. There was a twenty foot hole in the office roof and the photocopier was but a pool of blackened melted plastic on the blackened melted plastic carpet. It was pretty devastating from a business point of view. But it's come in as a handy catch all excuse ever since. When the taxman asked to see some expenses receipts and the petty cash box records. "All gone for ever!" was my gleeful reply! As was the petty cash box itself!

H - Don't break a wing mirror on that Honda of yours, a new stick-on glass for mine was £60 five years ago....

Looks like a similar occurence to the National Motorcycle Museum fire in a previous thread.

What were we discussing about sprinklers and insurance then ?  ::)

Can't see a problem meself like. I mean, no historic Porsches involved, just a bunch of relatively contemporary Italian winky-compensators as far as I can see.

Damn fine job if you ask me........
