Title: Re:Last Meal Post by: Andy Zarse on October 15, 2004, 05:54:14 pm Whilst I admire the expressed courage made real through their diets, they seem to have a blatant disregard for the wellbeing of their bodies, even on execution day. Ok, I know they're about to be fried, just like the chicken so many of them ordered, but come on guys, think about all that harmful cholesterol!! Have you no regard for your own health? At least take a leaf out of the book of one Leonard Rojas (lately departed courtesy of the Texas Judiciary) and drink diet Coke!!
Reminds me of a mate who ended up in a nuthouse on day treatment for Post Traumatic Stress disorder after a flying accident which involved being struck by lightning. He was talking to a fellow patient who had recently tried to top herself. Apparently the woman had swallowed a jar of pills, but it didn't quite make her throw a seven. "Why on earth didn't you wash it down with whisky then?" asks my pal. "Oh no", she replied, shaking her head disapprovingly, "I don't drink!" Women! Jesus! Title: Re:Last Meal Post by: Stu on October 17, 2004, 02:52:03 pm I seem to remember that Jesus's last supper came from Judas's Carry Out.
Sorry, I know its bad but I could'nt resist. Title: Re:Last Meal Post by: BigH on October 19, 2004, 11:22:22 am 1 bowl of mussels, cooked in the sun very slowly for four days, behind a forgotten tent flap.
1 Bottle of Drambuie. 14 blackened sausages, raw in the middle. Crate of warm Kronenbourg. A furry thing. 4 sausages as above, coated in grass and drizzled in diff oil. 1 Bottle of single malt, imported from Newcastle. No top. 6 chicken legs, 1 or 2 of which may not have come from a chicken. Burnt, quenched with French 33 beer. Half a dozen unidentified black things. Black right through. One piece looks like it might have a tooth. 6 rolls of French bread, dried out, with a razor sharp crust. Something which may or may not be a potatoe. A slug. Roasted in an empty monkey nut shell. Quart of local red wine, sprinkled in the glass with soil and some gravel. 10 oz steak, burnt black on one side, raw on the other. Finished with live ants. 2 bent cigars, moistened in the rain and kept in a back pocket for two days. What?? H |
