Title: Seriously Quick!
Post by: Snoring Rhino on October 13, 2004, 07:46:51 am
This clip was taken fron the Octaine Mag site, the last paragraph is a bit scary!

"An Ultima GTR driven by Ultima director Richard Marlow has recorded a 0-100 mph-0 time of 10.3 seconds, hitting 60 in 2.8 seconds along the way, and eclipsing the old record by half a second.
Previous record holders include the £850k Mclaren F1 LM, which was beaten by over a second.
The time was recorded in a standard, factory built, fully road legal, road tyred GTR, fitted with the recommended Porsche G50 5-speed ‘box and normally aspirated 640 BHP, 6.2 litre Chevrolet V8. No traction control or ABS systems were used.
Richard added, ‘We also wanted to measure the 0-200mph-0 time on the same day however severe rain and thunderstorms curtailed this but it didn’t stop Ted from achieving a 192mph pass in the wet on standing water with 1500rpm still available!’"

Does a comode come as standard in place of the driving seat ? A passenger ride in that would be my ideal Xmas present
