Title: Sounds like a great first lap
Post by: Bob U on September 30, 2004, 01:30:45 pm
Last night for the umpteenth time I watched the video of "McClaren at Le Mans". If you havn't seen this it is well worth tracking down a copy.
On it is some fantastic footage of the opening lap charge to be in the lead first time past the pits. The musical accompaniment to this lap is "Aint no brakeman on this train" by John Mayells Bluesbreakers, in itself a great track, but I could suggest a  better one. After a bit of thought I came up with "Hollywood Nights" by Bob Segar as being perfect for that first lap blast. This is only my humble opinion and I suppose you guys will have your own ideas.
So over to you.

This was used years ago on the ACO former website as a virtual discovery lap of the track !
