Title: Hi from Holland Post by: Paddy_NL on September 14, 2004, 06:57:22 pm Yes, another newbie.
We were at Beausejour this year, opting for Karting Nord in 2005. Our slogan is Drinking for Holland, and next year we're aiming to take 800 litres of Heineken for 20 people on pro-draft machine. Will that be enough for 5 days? ??? Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: smokie on September 14, 2004, 08:37:15 pm ...no, not when you invite the rest of Club Arnage for a beer or three...
Welcome! Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: Steve Pyro on September 14, 2004, 08:38:22 pm Welcome.
If that lot runs out, you could always drink warm supermarket beer like my lot do. :'( Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: Paddy_NL on September 15, 2004, 11:00:19 am Thanks guys, we'll probably provide a donation pot for the ones who are desperate for a cold one. On a non-profit base ofcourse (so that works out 50 cents a pint ;D).
We did give away a lot of beer this year (and had a very good time), but found a huge hole in our wallets when we came back :-\ Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: jpchenet on September 15, 2004, 02:03:23 pm Thanks guys, we'll probably provide a donation pot for the ones who are desperate for a cold one. There's a few of us!! ;) Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: Paddy_NL on September 15, 2004, 02:38:41 pm Hmm, isn't there a bridge or tunnel to the other side of the track?
Maybe we can tighten a piece of rope over the track, and transferr beers via that. Will be a laughter if it falls on an LMP1 ;D Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: jpchenet on September 15, 2004, 04:43:36 pm Hmm, isn't there a bridge or tunnel to the other side of the track? At least that was our excuse for not getting to the Brethren's Bash on Friday night!! Quote What a slur on a fine gentlman's character ;D ;D Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: jpchenet on September 16, 2004, 08:44:40 am Nothing to do with the fact that you were pissed and insensible then JP? Nope, that was Saturday night!!! ;D On Friday I was only reasonably refreshed as the rest of our group were arriving and there was a chance I might have had to drive into Arnage. Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: Werner on September 16, 2004, 02:26:35 pm ...800 litres of Heineken for 20 people on pro-draft machine. Just crunched the numbers , makes an average of 8 litres per day per head. Take some more, our average in last years was in the range of 9-10 litres... ;D ;D ;DWill that be enough for 5 days? ??? Title: Re:Hi from Holland Post by: Paddy_NL on September 16, 2004, 06:29:13 pm I might just do that anyway, beer is on sale-or-return base ;)
Anybody here going to Karting Nord aswell? |
