Title: Le Mans Winter Classic Rally
Post by: Gilles on September 07, 2004, 05:31:34 pm
I organise on Sunday 12/12/04 a classic and sport car rally, no time but orientation and navigation competition.

There's a specific trophy for foreign cars.

I may host you the saturday night before, just let me know by advance.

Anyone interested?

But thanks anyway.

Yes, I could be up for this. It'll be an excuse to get the sheepskin and Fishermans Friends out.
Gilles, who's going to be doing the body searches for the hand-held GPS sets?
Keep us up to date with info.
H

Gilles, can you give a little more information about the event please.  Will it be in the Le Mans area?  is it just one or more days for the driving etc.  If we can get enough people we could add some other interesting things to do on the way down and back, a good French Sunday lunch etc.

This classic car rally is a navigation competition which will take place on sunday morning. It's going to be a 60 to 80 kms ride with some tricky stuffs, questions to answer, hidden stuffs or indications to find,.....

The sunday event will finish by a lunch in my castle and the prize giving, allowing everyone to drive back home on sunday late afternoon. For example, the price for a night in the castle is 60 euros for a single bedroom and 90 for a double bedroom (breakfast included).

For people coming as far as most of you, I can arrange accomodation in the castle or in some other hotels and we can also fix up some saturday leisure, such as a private visit of the museum, a kart race,...

The MINI is out.

At this rate it will still be in the welding process.

Maybe next year.

Me, me! Oh I'd love to come Mr Spider, really I would! I don't think I need to send a photo as I met you just the other month - I saw the way you looked at me and smiled that day, just like I saw your look of sadness while I was being openly rogered from behind by that @!$#, Norbert. Anyway, I've been working out since then in the hope that I'd see you again...

I should be chosen because:

Je suis vendredi fille, I can do crosswords, and I'll bet you've never had a bear zarse on your leather!

Cher vendredi de Fille,

Oui, je fais remeber vous. Je pense que gibb avait juste a mis son pouce dans mon oeil et je cassais le vent en même temps.

Toutes applications seront considérées à la fin de septembre.

Yaaaaaaayyy, I'm multi-lingual.

I can speak Icelandic (helps when bartering for the price of cod) and I'm also very fluent in Grimsbyesk.

Mind you, when I've got my month around a battered sausage, knowone can understand what I'm saying!

So.....

Who is planning, or thinking of going to this, apart from Ferrari S, Big H and me?

It's also a good opportunity to stock up for Xmas...

For them as is interested in going to Gilles rally (I can't!) I thought you might like to see the following flyer I had off of Brittany Ferries. Overnight crossings inc cabin each way and 24hrs in France is about £89 return. Not too bad.

then check the I accept the terms box and proceed to get a quote.
