I wish I had had enough dosh to buy the set of 1960 Ferrari (Testorosa I think) V12 exhaust manifolds that had been given by Enzo Ferrari and very generously donated and put up for Auction by Murray Walker at the Brooklands BEN auction a few years ago. The reality is that I couldn't never have afforded to outbid the £600 price tag, and even if I could and I would still be wearing them in my lonely bachelor pad, but they were beautifully made, the welds were perfection and the curves so gorgeous, the most feminine bit of any engine / car I reckon.

- Had been born to a rich family
- Had kept my father fit through his 30's so that he could push start my kart now that he's (well into) his 40's
- Had enough money to buy a Ferrari 250 GTO
- Hadn't driven my car up a kerb and onto the "cross country" route on the way to Oxford last night.
- Had found VBH in the pitlane at Brands on Sunday
- Had gone out with the girl from school who ended up as the ice skater in Robbie Williams' "she's the one" video
- Had started karting when I was 8.
Enough?
