Title: Le Mans 2005 dates Post by: johnevans3 on August 24, 2004, 07:31:54 pm I inquired at ACO about the 24 Hours of Le Mans for 2005 and this is their reply. Time to start planning guys. Lock those dates in, book the airline ticket, figure out what to do with all that luggage. No train station lockers, again? ??? ??? ???
Good afternoon, The provisional dates for next year are : 11th and 12th June 2005 For any information about tickets and reservations : ticket@lemans.org Best regards, Françoise Fournier Membership Department Title: Re:Le Mans 2005 dates Post by: Canada Phil on August 25, 2004, 05:15:03 am Hi Johnevans3, We did warn you it is addictive ::)

I managed to get £100 discount last year by being a member of the AA, so it may be worth asking when the bookings open. That was direct using the fastcat thingy, out Wednesday and back on Sunday for £210.. not bad when you look at the other alternatives.. plus got to see Derek Bell in the new Bentley!! Nearly had a problem - My daughter is getting married in July, bit close. So when poor young lad asked for my permission for my daughters hand in marriage - there was one condition ----- His stag do had be in LE Mans on the weekend of 11-12 June !!!! very generous I thought, although it could get a bit messy ;D ;D ;D Title: Re:Le Mans 2005 dates Post by: Robbo SPS on August 25, 2004, 08:55:12 pm Quote I book with Briittany Ferries and they have a reserve list. I have already rec'd my letter from them confirming my requirements. In Octboer they then get back to me with the details and prices, etc but at least you are high up the list. Cheers, Tony Quote Last year, our vehicles were No 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 and 6 on the booking lists. So i am fairly happy i get a good deal and full 100% choice. |
